Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (I.D.R.C.)

I have worked the past 10 years in various areas regarding the treatment of individuals that have been convicted of drinking and driving offenses.  I first began in 1997 working as a consultant for a Bergen County Office that provided counseling for offenders.  After this time I then was hired by Counseling Care Associates to develop and implement their I.D.R.C. treatment groups.  I designed the program they used in both their Passaic and Bergen County Offices.  I continued my work there until which time I left to open my own office. 

I provide outpatient counseling in a group and individual setting for convicted DWI drivers who have been remanded into treatment by an Intoxicated Driver's Resource Center (IDRC). 

The 16 week model that I use consists of the initial individual intake, 14 weeks on group therapy, and then another individual session.  During this time individuals are asked to remain free from the use of all mood altering chemicals.  They also agree to random drug & alcohol testing.
